Data Retention Policy

1. Purpose

This policy explains how long SkyL4rk retains personal and client data across its systems and services.

2. Retention Periods

• Client account data: Retained for 5 years after termination
• License keys and transaction logs: 7 years
• Audit and access logs: 1 year
• Inactive sub-clients: Auto-deleted after 24 months of inactivity

3. Right to Erasure

Clients may request deletion of their data unless retention is required by law.

4. Backup Policy

Backups are retained for 30 days on a rolling basis and encrypted at rest.
